Peckham, London The conceptual approach to this urban design competition was to identify and relate to the five senses, taste, touch, smell, sound and sight. The theme of the competition was to consider the space “in between cities”. The scheme developed as different strata from the commercial “wall” on the street frontage followed by a new tram station, followed by live/work units. A city farm and multi-media centre “the bean” provides the community with teaching, art and leisure facilities. Europan Competition
